Vivian Adame is a member of the firm’s Employment Law, Class Action, and Business Litigation practice groups. Her practice is focused on representing businesses in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. She works on a broad spectrum of employment issues, including advising clients facing individual and representative actions involving the FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FCRA.
During law school, Vivian was a judicial extern for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and worked as a research assistant to Professor Edmund Ursin. She also served as a Comments Editor for the San Diego Law Review and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in both her Community Property and Legal and Constitutional Conflicts in the Middle East classes. Vivian sought to mentor first-year students as an Academic Success Fellow for Torts and Criminal Law where she held study groups and led workshops dedicated to the development of effective study strategies. She was recognized for her involvement as the Vice President of USD’s La Raza Law Students Association through her receipt of the Student Leadership Scholarship during her second and third years of law school.
Prior to joining Wilson Turner Kosmo, Vivian was an associate attorney at a San Diego insurance defense firm where she defended individuals, professionals, and businesses in personal injury, premises liability, and professional negligence matters.
