Robin Assaf Wofford is a partner in the firm’s Employment Law and Business Litigation Practice groups and has over 30 plus years of trial experience, in the areas of employment litigation and general business litigation. Robin has represented employers in disputes regarding wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, trade secret, and wage disputes.
Robin has successfully handled various consumer class actions, under the CLRA, TCPA, UTSA, PMPA and Business & Professions Code. Clients ranging from large corporations to small businesses and individuals have also turned to Robin to litigate disputes arising out of daily operations. Such claims include breach of contract, violations of PMPA, unfair business practices, unfair competition, TCPA and franchise disputes. Robin has also handled various real estate broker malpractice cases, and product liability matters. Robin has also successfully handled a number of appeals before the 9th Circuit and various state appellate courts. Robin's success stems from the fact that she partners with her clients to understand their needs and get the results they deserve.
Robin has been a frequent author, speaker and panelist, covering such topics as Training on Unconscious Bias, Privacy Rights, Discrimination and Harassment, Trial Practices, Business and Professions Code Section 17200 and Class Actions. Robin is the Chair Emeritus of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). Robin is the former President of the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Business Trials Lawyers (ABTL) and on the Board of Directors for the Magdalena Ecke YMCA. She has been recognized by Southern California San Diego Super Lawyers as one of the top Employment Litigation: Defense Attorneys and Business Litigation Defense Attorneys (2011 - 2022). In 2014 she was recognized as one of San Diego’s Top Lawyers in San Diego Magazine. Robin received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (1984), a Graduate Management Degree from North East London Polytechnic (1985) and her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (1988).
