Michaela P. Delacruz a member of the firm’s Employment Law group. Her practice is focused on representing employers in a variety of employment disputes, including wrongful termination, breach of contract, discrimination, whistle blower, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, and wage and hour litigation. Michaela regularly practices in state court and has also represented clients in charges filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Michaela has experience litigating cases up to jury and bench trials, as well as in arbitrations and mediations.
Prior to joining WTK, Michaela was an attorney at a national civil litigation firm in New York City, New York, where she defended entities and individuals in general liability matters.
During law school, Michaela externed for the San Diego Superior Court, Criminal Division, and interned at several local private civil firms. Michaela was also a Legal Skills Honors Instructor and Vice-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
