Overview

Stephanie Torres is a member of the firm’s Employment Law group. Stephanie represents clients in all aspects of federal and state employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.

In addition to her litigation role, Stephanie conducts investigations into charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and California Civil Rights Department. She offers strategic counsel to clients on employment issues, including employee classification, reasonable accommodations, risk management, and handbook policies. As part of her counseling practice, Stephanie also conducts sensitive workplace investigations.

Prior to joining Wilson Turner Kosmo, Stephanie was an associate at a prominent regional law firm, where she defended individuals, businesses and public entities in all stages of employment litigation in matters.

Stephanie earned her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as the Sources Editor for the Journal of College and University Law, Co-President for the Hispanic Law Student Association and as an extern for the National Immigrant Justice Center.
