The 2009 edition of San Diego Super Lawyers® has officially been released, and a total of six partners from Wilson Petty Kosmo & Turner were recognized in the publication.
This year's honorees include Claudette G. Wilson, Vickie E. Turner, Regina A. Petty, Lois M. Kosch, Michael S. Kalt, and Frederick W. Kosmo, Jr. All six partners had been recognized in previous years. In 2009, Wilson had the extra honor of being included in the prestigious Top 10 list of all lawyers in the county. Wilson was also identified as one of the top 25 Women Lawyers, while Turner was the subject of an extensive article in the publication.
The researchers behind Super Lawyers® use peer reviews to highlight the very best attorneys from over 70 different practice areas. While relatively new to the San Diego region, Law & Politics magazine has been publishing its Super Lawyers® supplement in different markets across the country since 1991.
The attorneys nominated to appear in Super Lawyers® are ranked based on peer recognition and professional achievement. The researchers from Law & Politics then vet out the final candidates prior to publication. Only the top 5% of all attorneys are ever featured in the magazine. Plus, because the awardees are initially nominated by their peers, the recognition carries special significance.
